Welcome to Our Practice

Children First Pediatrics is a member of OneHealth Nebraska

Welcome to Children First Pediatrics, where children always come first. We pride ourselves on providing compassionate, comprehensive services to children from birth through adolescence, and we are glad you have chosen us for your child’s medical care.

At Children First Pediatrics, we offer a full range of pediatric care including prenatal visits for expecting parents, well-child check-ups, immunizations, ill appointments and ongoing treatment of chronic conditions. Our caring team is committed to providing quality service in a comfortable, safe office setting where children and parents can feel at ease.

We invite you to take a few moments to browse our website and familiarize yourself with our practice. You will find helpful information you need about our practice including information on our providers, directions to our Lincoln office and new patient forms. We hope that it will serve as a valuable resource for you.

If you have any questions or want to schedule your child’s first visit to our office, feel free to contact us today. Our friendly and highly knowledgeable staff is available to help.

Beginning tomorrow, Friday, June 24th, we will begin administering the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine to infants and toddlers 6 months to 4 years old on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The vaccine is a 3 dose series. Please call us if you would like to schedule those appointments for your child.

Please Note:

Children First Pediatrics is now using a virtual check in system called Phreesia. Before your appointments you will receive a text and/or email requesting that you register and check in remotely. The system is secure and will help with keeping our records updated. Thank you.

Being mindful of our community vaccine resources, starting February 1, 2022 we will only be giving 5 to 11 year old Covid vaccines including boosters on Tuesdays from 9 until 4 pm.  Additionally, we will no longer be administering the 12 year and older vaccine.  We suggest you obtain that vaccine from the Lancaster County Health Department walk in vaccine clinics.

While we recognize this is not the most convenient option for our patients, we also feel we must be good stewards of the vaccine, and wasting doses at the end of the day due to lower volume, is not the best use of something so valuable to everyone.
